my friends told me...that in India don't have a sport car...i'm confius..not have a sport car (made in India) or in India people don't used a sport car.

There are no made in India sports cars. All the sports cars here are india are imported as CBU (Completely built units) and custom duty and other duties almost doubles the car. So having a sports car does not make any sense if you dont have some big amount of money.

In India you can see several sports cars like Lamborgini, BMW 6 series, Merc SLK etc. These are some top sports car in market right now and you can see them in india but the main problem is that these are very much expensive.

Like a sports car would cost minimum of 45 lacs in India and that is equal to 110,000 US dollars and the same car is available for around 50 K USD in US and this is because of the high custom duty that makes it so much costly. So having a importeed car is not a good point at the moment.

These 45 lack rupee cars are just the starting line in India and if you would like to have a good sports car then one would have to spend around 60-90 lac rupee s to get a real good sports car such as SLK 350 or Porsche carrera.

I don't think that we would see that many sports car in India till India does not decrease the import duty on these car which right now is more then the car original price.

do not think to happen any time sooner. I think it would take a lot of time befoe we would see any cut in custom duty on cars.
