Thread: Some important features of Indian Auto Market

This is something which i got when i was surfing internet which are very important features of our Indian Auto Market.

• India is the second largest two-wheeler market in the world
• Fourth largest commercial vehicle market in the world
• 11th largest passenger car market in the world
• Expected to be the seventh largest by 2016

I see a bright future for Auto industry in india.

Well I also see bright future for Auto Industry in India but on the other hand i think it can be a major problem in cities which cannot handle the present traffic rate.... just wondering what they would be like 5 years from now.

5 years from now we would still be backward from other autoindustires in other countiries as because of the high import duty which is something stopping of good cars into india.

I would like to add one thing in this list and that is ...

India only have the world cheapest car.
