Thread: Signal Strength....!

I am using CAS from Hathway, chennai, when i checked the Signal Strength and Signal Quality under the Settings of the Set Top Box i found the Signal Strength = 20, Signal Quality = 80(Keeps moving up n down frequently).

Is there any way we can increase the Signal Strength and Signal Quality by our own by attaching any external device to the cable.....?

What i found is that Signal Strength remains at 20 only but when Signal Quality fluctuates very much there is disturbance.

Not much you can do from your side. Contact the provider for problems.

Seems like hathway not only has problems with their internet service but also with their core activity of cable service.
BTW did u check with other subscribers in the same locality? It could give possible leads whether the prolem lies in the service itself or in the STB box/connection provided to u.
