In my opinion online shopping is not very advisable as most companies has a F all attitude towards their customer... just in case you get a faulty product there wont be any where to go for you and this is not something you would go to consumer court for either due to the sum involved being small.

Stick to your local shop pay a couple of hundred rupees extra if thats the case and save yourself a lot of hassel.

At least in our India thats the case. But Europe and USA have much better online shopping options with decent customer support. Most people there told me to opt for online shopping when I was talking about some electionic goods in an IRC network.

thats right, i m in a similar situation myself with my 7600GT.
the main rule is, if u wanna play the latest games, be prepared to pay about 10k on a card (which is reasonable but not exactly dirt cheap ). and when u r paying that amount or money or even more, u dnt want to take chances with warranty like admin said.

ITdepot is fine. I dont know abt itwares. Techshop.in is another site u can try. I trust them. If its not workin they WILL take it bak and are replace it. But, my fren had asked for an ATI4850, via Bluedart, but sthey sent it to him via Gati(costs less). Also, his gfx card plate(that u attach to chassi) was bent.

Bottom line: DONT GET ANYTHIN NOWWW !!!!!! W8 for a few months and its always better to get frm a shop, unless its ridiculously cheap online.

True.I agree. But if u have frens in the US /s'pore, u could get better stuff for less. But since we r in india, 10k is the min for a decent gfx card.
