    I'm getting a portable external drive now...done with burning movies to dvd...just takes a lot of time.

    USB 3.0 will make data transfer between hard drives significantly faster.I'm waiting for it before choosing to buy an external.

    Btw, I prefer using a lightweight program called CDCheck to check the disc after writing.It also has a recover option in cases of data corruption.

    yeah USB 3.0 will completely pwn USB 2.0 just like it Pwned USB 1.0 Just like it Pwned noone because it was the first one....

    Yeah , they should speed up the process...

    For external DVD writers etc USB 3.0 will make no difference, they can't even fully utilize the potential of USB 2.0

    i think its just crappy... just keep upgrading forever... i hate it... even pci e is getting another upgrade... wasn't it good enough already.
