    Default Phenom II X3 tested.

This is a test of the Phenom II tri core processor. It is an engineering sample. This supports DDR3 (and DDR2 also). Here are some tests that compare DDR2 and DDR3. Is expected later this quarter.

This would do good against the dual cores as games and other software get more optmised.

Ok guys after all the Hype, DO NOT BUY AM3 CPU NOW.

AMD has recently released a warning where there are reports of an ustability issue with DDR3 1333Mhz memory in dual channel.

This is not a very serious issue and they shall be fixing it with the new batch.

The problem is a very RARE one.

Atleast they r not hiding anything form us.

I would not suggest anyone to buy any hardware now, prices are going down...wait for another 6 months

Its better to wait for some more months before investing on expensive hardware. The prices will fall down sharply in the coming months..

Newer AM3 CPU are due this month. Hence Intel will cut prices. The RV790 is also going to be out soon. The P55 should be out in Sept. The X58 Mobo's are getting some kind of stepping and should replace old ones. DDR3 prices are falling.
Hence, do not invest heavily on a rig for some more time(1 month atleast).
