Rep Power: 7 | I have a problem regarding some DVD's i brought recently, and the problem is that i can not copy photos or any data on them. It doesn't matter whether they are -R or +R, as my comp takes both! When last time i copied some photos from my comp to disk, i didnt have any problems, i brought the CD's from the kodak shop and i used them to copy my photos on them as well as other data! when i insert the dvd, i copy whatever i want to the disk and then comes a message saying something like copied! But when i try to open the disk drive there is nothing there. What may the problem be? |

Rep Power: 7 | I've already done that, doesn't work! But generally DVD's can copy near enough anything on them, cant they? It doesnt matter on what kind of data you copy! |

| Aditya | which software you are using to burn data, try to use nero once and then see if it can help you in any case. |

Rep Power: 10 | Don't use copy-paste function...
![]() P.S.- Alternately, when you insert a blank DVD into your DVD burner a Windows dialog box will appear. Here you can choose the Open CD folder using Windows Explorer. It will open a cd writing dialog box where you can drag and drop files into it to burn to DVD... |

| I think Nero is systematical not much complication is present when once anyone know how to burn CD/DVD. May be some times copy/paste is not working properly. |

foobar2000 is free ... foobar2000 mediamonkey is my favourite - you can download the trial here -> MediaMonkey » Free Media Jukebox, Music Manager, CD Ripper & Converter - probably you would be able to manage a gold version for yourself .. | |
