About LinkBacksI have come across some Chinese stuff which display the memory as 4GB, but after a single formatting, it reverts back to 1GB or something lesser. How do they manage to display such figures initially on the drives?

check this that what i got after my 40 GB laptop HDD format........
Is that some form of trickery or did your HDD really go kaput?
it really got that.......but got fixed after one more format.....
