So i'm planning to buy "1 TB Harddisk"... Need some help from all the member of IBF.. Do pitch in with your review if you're using...

Alright.. So you're using "MAXTOR"... Heard about "Hitachi's Deskstar 7K1000" , "Seagate Barracuda 7200.11", "Seagate Barracuda ES.2"... They all are coming with 1TB, and reviews of "Seagate Barracuda ES.2" are positive...

I'll take a look of all 4...

Never Ever GO For Seagate dese day. Due 2 A frimware issue dere HDD are known for faluire issues

yes as per the quality seagate has gone down. i was using 500gb and suddenly one day it started make motor rotation sound and with in 1-2 min it crashed, the HDD was 1 month old ... sent it back to company and as a compliment they sent me back 1tb HDD to compensate for all my data losses now for 4 months this 1tb hdd is working good and my system will be 24x7x365 on.....so till now it has given good service........

Are all the Seagate models affected ? I've heard only a few SATA 2 models are affected.
