Thread: No more corei7 920

With the introduction of the core i5, the core i7 920 and 940 will most probably be discontinued as there will not be much price gap between them.

So if u wanna get ur hands on a 920, these might be the last few weeks for u 2 get 1.

core 2 extreme are much better than them.

no they are not. They(core 2 extreme) are a lot more costly too.

So are i5's going to be better than ALL the i7's...I mean better than i7 965 ?

The i7 920 is being stopped(the i7 960 and 940 are alrdy phased out, stopped production) so that it can cr8 a bigger price range for the i5.

If I'm right theyre keeping the 975 and then introducing a 6 core i7
And that'll be the only i7's left
