please be more specific with error messages.

infact it would be easier to google the error message to find the answer.

Are you a victim of "Love virus ". Its still prevalent in India, a major cause of concern. In this a user get messages on getting instant love & thing like that.

Use a good antivirus. If you can't afford those costlyones then use free ones which offer nearly all functionalities of costly ones.
History is on the move,my friends. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from distance. And those who stand in its way will not watch at all.http://windows7sins.org/

if your USB drive does not contain that much important data, best option is to format it.

Yes , formatting is an option but there are viruses & scripts which can prevent it.

It is replacing the file. Even if you use a separate USB, it will get infected also.

Please mention the antivirus you use. Update it and try a full system scan.

try formatting in a linux machine.
then reformat in a clean Windows machine. (not yours)
run a full system scan of your system.

    My solution = Linux

-> Insert drive in Linux all viruses become unhidden and they can be deleted (especially Autorun.exe,it enables flash drives and viruses when infected to auto-run when you insert it in windows )...

->Take a back up of your drive using Linux

->Format after every use , otherwise there are chances of your drive going bust because of viruses

->You can also use Antiviruses available for Linux .... Most major Anti-virus vendors have a version for Linux ...some of them freewares to clean your drive ....
