Thread: External Hard Drive Problem.

Hey guys.

I have one external drive(2.5") 120 GB, The manufacturer is Enter, Till morning it was running smoothly, but now i'm not able to copy into that external drive..I can easily copy data from external HDD to my PC HDD, But can't do vice versa, While copying data it shows error that "The Device is not ready"

Did you try connecting the HDD directly to MB ?

By this I meant removing the HDD from the enclosure and connecting it directly.

Tried in all the slots, But no success... I've formatted the drive also , Seems to be USB chord problem.

Try using the external Hard Disc with any other Computer. If the issue still persists, it's confirmed that the problem is with the external Hard Disc or the USB chord.

Try reinstalling external hard disk driver from the Device Manager.

I am not so knowledgeable about this matter. So i have to learn it. Thanks for the post.
