| Platinum Member | A good 19" TFT such as Samsumg is usually around 10K. It is better to stretch budget this one time rather than repent later. I think that you should get a good system for 40K. Suggested configuration: Motherboard: ASUS P5K-E / WiFi-AP Socket 775 Motherboard CPU: Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Processor Q6600 RAM: 2 x DDR2 2GB PC2-6400 800MHz Dual Channel Patriot PDC22G6400ELK Hard disk: 750GB SATA/300 16MB Buffer Graphics Card: EVGA 8400GS Video Card (PCI-Express, 512MB) Display: Samsung 19" LCD Display (1440x900, 3000:1, 2ms) Power Supply: Antec 500W Power Supply Others: Cabinet, Keyboard/Mouse, DVD Writer Not a bleeding edge config. But should suffice you.

| ^^ That mobo is gonna be costly. Also, avoid Q6600. Get somethin like a Q9550 also, i dont think u can get all that for 30k. Last edited by rajan1311; 07-31-09 at 03:49 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

| Platinum Member | Hmm. I know that Q6600 is not the latest or the best. But some compromise will have to be made somewhere. I thought CPU will be a better choice than MoBo. |

| Platinum Member | Response time should be as low as possible. In tradtional CRT monitors, the CRT's source is light and hence response is not a problem. In LCD/TFT monitors, the screen is produced by each bit of LCD element. The LCD takes time to respond to the signal. Currently the fastest LCDs are with 2 ms response times. A higher response time will mean that there will be ghost-like effect in fast moving action scenes - the higher the response time, the worse it will get. |

Rep Power: 2 | for gaming the graphics card matters much more than the processor. You can also get a HD4670 but might cost a little more. And currently AMD phenom will be more value for money. it's better than Q6600 may be even Q8200. and cheaper than Q8200 hence more value for money. |

| well u need a new motherboard and new RAM. A good set of both will cost u about 9k alone. Plus, even the cheapest quad is Rs 8000. So, approx it to about Rs16-17k. |
