Graphic Memory Problem.

Unhappy Graphic Memory Problem.

Hey Friends,

I have a 128 MB graphic memory but when I check in properties it shows only 64 MB.I updated all my drivers but no good happened.I have integrated intel graphics and I am using 945G chipset.

Please help.Currently I am using Windows vista (32 Bit) ultimate edition.(SP 2)

Please Help.

Go to your BIOS and check if the onboard video memory is set to 128MB.

BIOS is the one which we enter after pressing F10(during Computer startup), Right ?

that depends on the mobo. mine is del key.

Well,Ok

I just checked it.The maximum onboard video memory is set to 8MB and that is the maximum available.

lol how did that happen ! I have no clue how you get 64MB.

And, Yes I have Intel Motherboard/Chipset.

But I have 128 MB memory.

What is happening ?

Checked it once again.

Its 8 MB only.This is really irritating.

IN my case, XP used to report as 128 and vista as 64 Mb, so i guess its normal.

Where does the rest 64 MB go ?

Maybe not as well as XP, i guess the 64 to Vista's aero interface.

Are you indeed using Vista or facing the problem in XP ? And you are talking about integrated graphics or graphics card.
