    Default Removing a virus from Pen Drive

    I have a virus in my pen drive, i used in another computer which had a virus. I deleted everything from the pen drive, but I think the virus may still be there. How do i make sure its gone and remove it??????

    scan it with avira and you will see delete option in it....

    Disable autoplay and format your pen drive.

    your pen drive is not shwing autoplay??

    Start > Run > gpedit.msc > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Turn off Autoplay

    Select Enabled and then click OK.

    some virus may not allow format in windows.
    if that is the case, start your computer in DOS mode
    change to the drive for pendrive
    use "attrib -a -s -h *.*" command
    use "erase *.*" command

    if it still persists

    you may have to find a linux live disk or someone using a linux system
