hi folks,
i'm looking forward to buy a printer; and i'm unware about technicalities of printers. i read that basically 2 types of printer are in use:

1) Laser printer - uses toner 2) Inkjet printers - uses liquid link

basically i feel that laser printer is the best option; the main drawback that i learnt about inkjet printers are that the printed ink fades, and its not long lasting and drawbacks like ink blots (not water proof) which is no no for long use

My requirements for a printer:
Home use, to be more precise printing documents in black and white (pdfs, words.)

i stumbled upon this product wht do u all say guys, is it a better option.

Maintenance cost
i ain't aware of this part??? with my limited knowledge i think that toner(for laser printer) & Cartridges(for inkjet printers) need to be changed after its worn out.
1) Cost incurred for this????

so if i need to print more pages than highlighted in image i need to shell out Rs. 3075.00

any information/suggestions are happily welcomed

I have a Laser printer. It's an Epson DX4400 and it really is simple to use and gives a good quality finish. I got mine fairly cheap too.
