    Default Cleaning keyboard

How do you guys clean your keyboard (thats if you do), I mean its something quite difficult to clean as you can only clean the top of the keys, but on the side of the keys there is so much dirt and dust, and I honestly can not spend so much time cleaning each single side of a key!!!!!!

Then why are you bothered about cleaning your keyboard.

Lots of keyboard cleaning brush are available in market just use that to clean your keyboard, you can use a small vacuum cleaner too.

Im bothered about it being clean, so that it's clean to use, it looks horrible at the moment as the dust is clearly visible!!!

I didn't know that you can get brushes to clean keyboards................thanks for that!!!

You can completely take out all the keys off the keyboard one by one. Just pull out the key using some pen or something like that. After this you can clean the keyboard as much you like.

I recently cleaned my keyboard, I completely opened the keyboard after removing the keys. You can again put the keys back by pressing the key a little on the slot. I was myself surprised that i did'nt knew this after so many years of using the desktop, and i am not mentioning the laptop here.

Keyboard cleaning methods (follow them every month or two):

    1. Use a vacuum cleaner.
    2. Use Colin or such sprays.
    3. Wipe the dust and muck after the detergent spray.

My laptop is all black. Yet I have to clean it because the "muck" that accumulates is not black.

    Thumbs up

if its a cheap keyboard, and u not using for 2-4 hours ,just dip it in a bucket of water, spray water using shower, then wipe it, dry in sunlight (not really directly under it, but u can try), and you will have a wonderful new keyboard.I tried it sometime back and it worked.
My friends were amazed and i am a hero still .....

For me, i manually clean my keyboard by detaching the bottom part from the keyboard, removing the circuitry and plastic contacts and leaving the plastic keys in its place.i soak in water with soap ans scrub it a little.although it's a little time consuming, i'm satisfied because my keyboard is clean from inside to outside, free from ants and other dirt.
