Default Corsair H50 : Liquid Cooling for the masses

Many people seem to be excited about liquid cooling for the CPU , but the price and the pain to install it is a turn off, here is a product by Corsair which works on both those issues.

Introducing the corsair H50 Liquid cooling system:

At just $80 it is a very affordable liquid cooling kit and its relatively easy to install too. It comes with LGA 775 ,LGA 1156 and LGA 1366 brackets and you need to ask if you need for AM2 or AM3 socket.

Performance wise, it can be compared to the high end air cooling systems like the TRUE 120 and is better than the V8 cooler. Here is a performance chart for comparison:

As you can see, its not the best, but is still very very good in terms of performance. The idle temperatures are a little on the higher side though, but that should not be an issue while your overclocking.

When we use a dual fan configuration on the radiator, it further drops the temperatures by a few more degrees and it can be compared to a cooler master V10 !

    The Verdict:
This is a very good liquid cooling system for its price. Its performance was not the best but was up with the high end Air coolers of the same price. Hence, if you want to try out something different and have something to brag about (liquid cooling, oh yeah !) this is a very good option.
It is available in various online stores in india and also in retail stores (little hard to find) for around a price of Rs5000.
I give product a 4/5 and i will buy it when i get some money

The shops at Nehru place Newdelhi would get this for you if you place an order and pay some advance... infact they can get you anything from any where in the world if you want to spend the money its there for you.
I wonder who uses these... I have never felt the need of a better processor although I have a very old one.. must be hardcore gamers who really need these kind of rigs.

I wouldn't mind a water cooler for CPU if the price was same or competitive. After all, a cooler CPU will mean better performance.
