Thread: Which hard disk to buy

i want to buy a new hard disk minimum 1TB
aS OF MY Configuration:Intel DG31PR Mobo
Intel Core 2 Duo E7200:Processor
2GB DDR2:RAM
No Graphic card
It should not cross my Budget
Rs.5000

Go for Seagate 1TB HDD and look at the RPM speed of it (7500rpm) is the normal speed, (9000) its not available in market..
It may cost u around Rs 4200 (no tax)....

It`s not 7500 Rpm, it`s 7200 Rpm.And you should buy this one as said by bonda.............

Go for any, WD or seagate. 10000rpm Raptors are costly and not worth it.

what will be the use of it?

Storage = WD Carviar Black - Costly
Backup = WD Carviar Blue - Mid
General Use = WD Carviar Green - Eco-friendly & Cheap
