Default Athlon II X4 630 working in a HT 1.0 board

I had to chose the mobo MSI GF615M-P33 due to unavailability of MSI 785GM E51.My processor can have a HT frequency upto 4000MHz and the 785G chipsets support HT 3.0 with 2600Mhz.My current mobo have only HT 1.0 and
HT frequency is 1000MHz.Will it affect the perfomance of the proccy?

I have done the passmark rating of my PC and getting similar CPU mark for my processor in both the chipsets. Is there a significant difference in performance(mainly gaming) when this proccy works in HT 1000Mhz and in HT 2600Mhz?

Did you get it to work ? You would need a BIOS flash for it.

Yes, it will effect the performance. Can not say how much, but it will as the HT is the link between memory and processor, so if that is slower it will hold some performance back. That extent may vary from application to application..

try TheITWares -TheITwares Ecommerce for the 785G motherboards, they seem to be in stock there.
