Thread: Desktop LCD Monitor

Hi

I Have an Old PC Monitor.... I Was Thinking Of Replacing It With LCD Flat Screen under Exchange Scheme..Can Someone Suggest Some Good Models And Where I Can Get Some Good Deals In Mumbai.....My budget is around 2-2.5k

I doubt you would get anything in that range. If you have a CRT, it will probably sell for Rs700 at best. Your Best bet is a 2nd hand monitor.

I doubt you'll get a new LCD monitor for an exchange of your old CRT plus 2.5k and as far as I know the LCD monitors starts at 5k.

I'd suggest to go for dell 17" wide screen one , I got it for 6.5k almost 6 months ago. I am using 21" samsung also, which I got for 7.2K an year ago...

Do go for widescreen monitor, unless you are hard core graphic designer.

I think if I get around 700 bucks for my old monitor, I may put in around 4-4.5k. I think it would be fine. If Dell costs around 6.5k 6 months back, than I could expect it for 5-5.5k now. Can you let me know more options. Pls specify me the model no. also.

if u are not a gamer then in this budget go for a 17" inch lcd.

Samsung, Benq,Viewsonic etc are all good

I prefer dell to samsung... Working on dell is quite nice experience... I had to buy samsung 21" just because the peer that dell has was quite expensive, ( though feature rich ) .

If you are going for 17", go with dell... You wont be disappointed... Their 18.5 " one is also very good..

i have samsung.never used dell.i personally feel benq is good.

EDIT:

Go for the benq 18.5" inch G922HD.
Its Rs6K.

But good quality monitor.
