    Default Wireless Mouse

I was thinking of purchasing a new mouse for my desktop, but this time a wireless mouse. But I'm still half minded about this on whether to get it or not, and whether it as successful in working as the normal wired mouse.

Have any of you used a wireless mouse before, what was the performance like, and what brand did you buy!

And importantly is it worth buying?

I have been using a wireless mouse for at least two years.

When I have to work on some other machine with a wired mouse, it really feels weird.

Go for it. There is no adjustment period with a wireless mouse. And once you are with a wireless mouse even for a week, you will never feel going back to the wired one.

So a definte and emphatic YES. The only cause of concern may be the cost.

    Default Wireless Mouse

    Hi,
As far as I know wireless mouse is a computer mouse that needs no wires to send signals from the mouse to a computer. Over time, different technologies have led to the emergence of different types of wireless mice on the market. The cordless mouse offers obvious advantages over its tethered brethren, such as being able to point and click on a computer screen from across the room and run on multiple surfaces.

    Thanks,
    James

I used a friends computer once, and she has a wireless mouse, and I found it quite annoying as at times it would just stall, either it wasn't functioning properly or something else was wrong! From then I was a bit vary of getting a wireless mouse.

Any particular brands which may be better than others for a wireless mouse?

What kind of reply is this? We are talking about wireless mouse here. What is the point of mentioning prices of all types of mice?

As I said, I have been using a wireless mouse for last 3 years. I have two:

    a) Logitech VX/Nano for my laptop
    b) Logitech MX Revolution for my desktop

    Both are "fantabulous".

I use a V450. Use it with my vaio. The receiver is a nano receiver(minimum protrusion). In fact i keep the receiver always plugged in to the laptop even when on the move. It is barely noticeable. Also since this been a laser mouse, it doesnt need a surface.

And speaking of performance, i never felt any stalling/lag. I use it for gaming too.
