Those who worships gaming will really some spill some cash for these awesome pieces of technology. Games with complex gameplay like World of Warcraft are easy to play with gaming mouses.

    Thumbs up

i must say that the prices are a bit old. they must have fallen considerably now.

I purchased a Logitech G5 about 3 years ago, for about INR 2800.

as for the question, whether it is worth it or not, you should use one, in a gaming cafe, or at a friend's place, etc.

The benefits it gives are exceptional.

pair a gaming mouse with a gaming keyboard, and you have yourself a winning combination.

all of the above is subject to availability of funds in your pocket.

the thread is 6 months old mate

A gaming mouse generally does not get you more frags, in my case at least, just was a lil more comfortable..

    Cool

agreed, and i saw the thread date later on,
6 month old thread has prices that are higher than the price i got 3 years ago, and just wanted to point that out.

and yes, better mouse does not mean higher frag count, but it makes the fragging that much easier, and thus assists the gamer. plus the extra buttons on this mouse are good in non gaming application as well.

    lets see...
google for the TKO CZ server list. look for one that is located in india.
look for my name in the players list after u connect.

giving instructions as i think that the mods may not allow posting direct server addresses.

Gaming mouse are totally worth it. They can improve the gaming performance and experience. Especially while playing MMORPG's or FPS games.

Gaming mouse are special mouse with extra keys which can be programmed according to the game resulting in quicker actions during gameplay. They also have a customize able dpi and polling rate. They are designed for prolonged use and so are comfortable. Some also feature profiles through which you can save multiple settings on the mouse only. That means no you just have to take your mouse with you and all the settings will be there.

I have a Logitech G300. It supports 3 custom profiles. It has a total of 9 keys. I have programmed one profile for my daily use by assigning, Cut, Copy, Paste, Backspace and Enter functions on it. Makes my life far too easier. Other 2 are set for FPS and RPG respectively.

They are worth it without a doubt. I am currently using Deathadder 2013 for playing FPS games, mostly CSGO. It's important to get a gaming mouse if you are planning to get the most out of FPS games. Buying regular mice just won't suffice.

Depends. If you like to play fast paced competitive multiplayer games then yes, they also may offer more precision and speed for certain professional uses like drawing in CAD. Otherwise, no. Cheap mouses offer enough for non professional use.

I dont know but I think buying an actual controller is much more better than gaming with a keyboard and a mouse. There really great controllers for PC games in the market. Heck you can even convert a Playstation controller into a PC game controller. I think a gaming mouse is only good for first person shooters and some tactic RPG games like WOW. If those are your type of games fine but if you also play other genre's a controller is a better option.
