Are you a gamer but bored of slow performance of your HDD, then this is a good news for you. Samsung has recently launched max. capacity Spinpoint MP4 hard disk drive for laptops. This Samsung Spinpoint MP4 is 2.5-inch HDD offered in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities.It has 7200 rotations per minute (RPM) speed and this high-density drives also support Serial ATA 3.0 interface.


This new Spinpoint MP4 internal HDD for laptops is claimed to have improved 30 percent of performance with 7200RPM rotation speed over the 5400RPM speed. This HDD has 16MB memory buffer compared to 8MB available in several 5400RPM HDDs. In this way, Samsung has packed a combo of fast spin speed platter and double than usual memory buffer for turbo charging the performance.

Targeted at the high-performance, multi-tasking enthusiasts and gamers, the new Spinpoint MP4 features Samsung's proprietary SilentSeek and NoiseGuard technologies for quieter operations.But one cannot buy it in other laptops, one has to buy samsung laptop to take this blasting thing with him.

But Samsung has not released any price details for these new high-density drives for laptops.
