Axel I am surprised by what you have said about ASUS as it is one of the few companies which have good products and support also especially their mobos are highly recommended.

Yes I said because there is a history. Asus doesn't know what they are talking about. Now I had a Asus motherboardthe model I don't remember but started with PS1 or something. This is back in 2008 ,one day when I tried to turn on my PC it won't turn on, it stated Keyboard not detected.Long story short it wasn't detecting any keyboard or mouse. I checked the wires. They are OK.I tried to manage from BIOS. But ultimately I had to surrender, now it had 3 yrs warranty.
So I said Ok.No probs.Lets take it to the CC. Asus customer car the Allied group. It wasn't far from my house in Chandni Chowk area. They said they are going to cure this deceased fella. After 4 days they called and told me to collect it.
Now Life was fine untill 1 week later 'black plague' came and I had to bow my head to the Allieds again. They cured again. After another 3 weeks another disastrous thing hapened. My PC won't turn on. So I took Alliance again. This time they said that my MB has a special problem. They can't service it they have to send it to Mumbai.I said WTF.How many days?? They said 1.5 week or so..I said Ok.Now they said I'll have to pay 50 rs as a shipment charges.Again WTF.OK! I guess there's no other way around.
THen 1.5 weeks passed 2weeks passed 3 weeks passed 3.5 weeks passed I (In this timeline I had visited them 5 or more times) was desperate I went to them and said when am I gonna get the MB back. They said they don't know. That day was a long bittersweet conversation. Then I bought a second hand mercury motherboard, and it is running fine till now.
They indeed called me and told me that my MB is here after another 3 weeks.I took it and sold it to a man in Chandni Chowk area whom I contacted earlier.

    That's it end of story(with Asus).Adios.

That was indeed bad. I have not heard of Allied group which are authorised service center for this company. Even the website doesnt state this of any authorised service center named.

Alright. I am sure thats the reason they are not the service providers for ASUS now because of bad service.
