Default Benefits of Optical Mice - kool facts!!!

There are various benefits to using optical mouse over its ancestor the track ball or commonly called manual mouse or ball mouse.

Firstly there are no moving parts in an optical mouse since the optical mouse uses and LED instead of a rubber ball, there is no way for the LED to stick or get grimy. This leads to high dependability. Many people complain that their manual mice need constant preservation or fix. Optical mice usually work well for years without a break down.
Because the technology is more advanced and uses an LED and CMOS instead of a rubber ball to measure tracking, you will get much better response and performance. Usually, the better the tracking, the smoother the total experience.
Another great reason that the Optical mouse has become the most popular mouse technology is that you can use an optical mouse on lots of different surfaces. Manual mice need a mouse pad made out of a special material to function optimally, optical mice do well on almost any kind of desk top or materials.
Optical mice are also very easy on the pocket.

    The Moser Baer MB-272

The Moser Baer Optical provides a very comfortable and handy navigation. It provides with high precision navigation and high resolution of 800 dpi.

Just read it in the Shop.moserbaer blog...kool info!!!

    LoL,

generally the mouse size is not for fancy. depending on ones own palm and finger lengths, the mouse should be purchased, not to get pain while using it.
A mouse now a days more often used than keyboard.
If we choose the wrong size by modern etc, it becomes inconvenient and later we tend to keep it aside.
    as most of us know
neither moserbaer makes nor many others. they specify and get made and brand after their name.

Logitech is the best for regular desktop / laptop mice,
their cordless mice and keyboard combo is also good,
iBall is cheaper and more available, but i personally don't like the colour combination of everything iBall. iBall have better after sales (warranty) service than logitech.

I myself use a Logitech G5 gaming mouse, which is a Laser (not optical) mouse, never had any issues with it, in the 3 years that i have owned it.

Actually, I had a bad experience with a Logitech laser mouse. Very expensive, and it lasted just over a year.

I am now sticking to optical mice. So what if laser mice work on glass, even, my desk is not glass!

Optical mice: not so cheap that you want to throw it away, but you won't cry like you would when a laser mouse stops working!

    Could well be!

I guess I still have a brand loyalty to Logitech, just as I have the very opposite for Microsoft: I just would not want to see that word on any keyboard or mouse in front of me!

    And never will again!

how things can change in a couple of months.

I have given up my loyalty to Logitech, because now, I have had a problem with every one, including having one fail after just a few weeks.

Thanks. will check them out. Also had a recommendation for iBall on another site.

I never think to look at stuff marketed to gamers, but I guess it must be made to stand up to long, hard use, so maybe I should. Only need the basic buttons though.

These gaming mice are really comfortable as many of them have gel padded cusions, besides them having high DPI means you have to move the mice less.

Thanks, but I have really lost faith in Logitech.

Also, even if I buy from a gaming-based supplier, I only need the ordinary mouse functions, with the one addition of horizontal scrolling.
