Thread: whats the price of DVD9

well guys I hv 500+GB HDD
but now its goin to completely fll up with movies so I want to transfer my data in DVD5 or DVD9
earlier I purchase some DVD5 of sony & it cost was 13Rs./piece around but now I want to purchase some DVD9 of sony
so if anyone know what the cost of it thn pls tell me
or any other suggestion for storing data are also welcomed pls suggest!!!!

Quit Sony in my recommendation and go for moserbaer. I buy them for Rs 60 per piece in jewel case.

I just need any storage device that can store my data for long time with any damage thats it
thats y m purchasing DVD9 if there is any other option or idea u have thn pls mention here

There can't be a guaranteed long time storage,

You can just buy a Writex/Moserbaer Blank DVD and write at 4x(Low speed is important for dependable data storage).

I've some VCDs in Local Samurai 4.50rs CDs, They are in pristine condition
And some mp3s on a Moserbaer which are giving me living daylights.

So there cannot be a guarantee.

Though the price of DVD-R has reduced,The price of DVD-R DL (DVD9) has not reduced.It may cost you at Rs.65 per piece in a jewel case.
