Question USB Blue Tooth Not Working

I bought USB blue tooth for my desktop. Make is "Enter". It has a very small CD. Inserted USB dongle supplied as a device and Run the CD and run set up exe.

As per screen message i restarted my PC.

While clicking on blue tooth icon, it says that can not start blue tooth. Blue tooth hardware is not found. Screen shot attached as blue tooth.1

Where I am mistaking, I do not know.

The total files and folders in the said CD is also attached as screen shot as blue tooth.2

I feel that I might have done mistake in installation of the said CD, because in the said CD there are RAR files also and msi file also.

Please guide me to resolve the issue. Probably vendor may not take it back.

    I got confused, please help.

    Thanks and regards.

    hmm...

Try going in to the device manager

    which is available here...

    my computer>>control panel>>hardware and sound>>device manager>>click it..

and check with the ports. you will see your bluetooth radio device listed there.. just right click and click the option search best driver from web..

i think this will solve your problem.

Go to control panel > Add hardware > insert the disc, it will ask for driver location, give the location of the disc and install driver from CD.

Click " Show all devices " and check. See if you can spot your USB Bluetooth Dongle.

Please post the screen shot. I don't have XP now.

You will find an option to add devices. Or simply restart your PC, it will say " New hardware found " and ask you for driver location.

    @ Mickey

Please continue. I am in a call. Will be engaged for next one hour. Sorry.

Try a System RESTORE date before you installed the drivers.
    Restart
Plug the Blue tooth Device system to USB port.
Does XP detect new hardware ?
download drivers in unzipped form and re install.

    2
check in Network connections. Blue tooth connection appearing ?

    http://www.indiabroadband.net/attach...1&d=1311619426

    check Properties.
    or
    Check in DEVICE MANAGER
    network adapters.

should show . click properties. enabled ? /drivers etc.

It was a faulty device supplied by vendor.

Got the replacement and found ok, as it is detected by my PC.
Using of the devices is not started.

Thanks to all who responded to my problem.
