Mention your budget and usage. Watching videos Games ,
Details of your video card system etc. Present Monitor used.

and type of Broadband connection speed.
Type inSEARCH box above LCD Monitor
or LED monitor or Plasma Monitor.
The subject is vast, and one line answers need better feedback.

As this is a fragile item , better check in local Computer stores.

Both LED TV and LCD TV have "Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD's)" in them, what makes it different is its "back light".
For a normal LCD TV, there is something like a thin tube light (in lay mans terms) fixed to any of the sides which diffuses the light on to the screen, on the other hand for LED TV's, these back lights are LED (Light Emitting Diodes) which are fixed to the four corners or behind the screen (for bigger sizes) and hence these have a better contrast ratio which gives the depth of color, and also long lasting than typical LCD TV's.

Most LED/LCD monitors manufactured nowadays are of a decent quality. If it's manufactured by Apple, Asus, Acer, Dell, MSI, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony or HP - you'll have nothing to worry about. This is a very competitive market and all the manufacturers ensure that their products are top notch. You'll really be choosing a monitor based on your budget more than anything else. But I've even found that cheaper models of flat screen monitors are pretty good these days.
