    HI,

I have DLink and Linksys in my homes. Firs I have biught the Linksys and later I had to give that to my uncle because he wanted. Then I purchased DLink because I want to try the new company. I am more happier than Link sys. I am using the DLink N 300 model. The signal could bypass the walls and even closed doors. It is very easy to install. I biught it very recently only. I have bought it from flipkart here:

    flipkart.com/d-link-dir-615-wireless-n-300-router/

    techbreaths.com/2012/02/how-to-configure-d-link-wireless-n-300-router/

If you need more details, please reply to this thread.

    Hi,

BTW, Does your DLink 2750u faces frequent internet discoonection problem?

Mine is 2 months old and the internet connectivity is lost every 7-8 hours and again comes alive after reboot (push button/web UI), only to be disconnected again in few hours. However only internet access is lost but the WLAN works fine all the time.

My earlier BSNL provided modem never disconnected internet even when used 2 weeks continously. I bought this DLink modem for its 802.11n and longer range of WiFi.

    Kindly reply...Thanks

I bought a 2750u a few days ago ( April 2012). It was easy to setup but has exactly the same problem mentioned above.
First of all it takes a long time to log on compared to my original modem. Then is cuts off after a couple of hours or less and either doesn't connect again or takes at least another 15 to 20 minutes to log on again and then cuts off again after 15 to 20 minutes. As mentioned the wireless link works without a problem all the time. So I have stopped using the 2750u till the problem is resolved. Is it due to heat ? It's is not kept enclosed but does get pretty hot. Or is it due to low sensitivity at the input stage ? My original modem is a UT-300R . Thanks for any help.

I have the d-link DIR-601 wireless router, but am unable to get to work.. Is there an out-of-normal configuration changes that I need to do? I have both the modem and rounter on PPoE mode with correct username and password. I have tried bridge mode in which case the modem stops to work..

    Any help/pointer is highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Your choice is very nice because D-link 2750u is the good router for home use. It gives 4 port wi-fi router. It provides Internet transmission of up to 24 Mbps downstream, 1 Mbps upstream. It is the fast internet connection and it is compatible with 802.11n/g/b wireless devices. It also provide high security like Firewall protection, user access control, WPA/WPA2 wireless security, and priority queues. It's Frequency range is 2.4 GHz to 2.484 GHz. Yes you can use this modem for connecting to my other wifi enabled devices for accessing files. It will work upto 5 th floor.

    Hi,

I recently purchased Dlink DSL 2750U and am facing the same issue which you had faced. I have a FTTH connection at my home and when I plug in the LAN cable from the FTTH modem in to the Dlink router's LAN port and try to connect to the DLink wireless from my laptop, sometimes the internet works fine and sometimes the laptop is logged into 192.168.1.0 netowrk of the router as if there is no internet connection (though I connect the LAN cable from my FTTH modem into Dlink Router). It is odd because sometimes the setup works and sometimes it doesnt. I have to restart the router to make it work.

From your posts I understood that you faced similar issue. Were you able to fix it? Contacting Dlink Support is of no use at all. Please help.

    Thanks,
    Mohan
