    Default Seagate Wireless Plus

Seagate now have a wireless hard drive. This seagate hard drive is battery operated and 100% wireless, which means its easy to use with your tablet or smartphone. The wireless hard drive created its own network, so therefore there is no need for the internet and therefore can be used anywhere you like.

Seagate wireless plus is available in 1TB storage capacity, which means you can store more than 500 movies, even more songs, photos, files and documents. It can be used with both iOS and Android so there is no problem on connectivity. If your worried that its wireless and it wont last long well the battery last for up to 10 hours, which is long enough and you can watch at least 3 movies with it continuously.

There is not much point in the wireless HDD, because the hard drives which are wired, have only a small USB cable, and thats.....not much wiring at all.

Actually there is a point, because a hard drive has quite a bit of weight, and instead of having it hanging from your laptop or tablet, it can be put on a table or when travelling be put into a bag and still be used.

Ok yeh maybe that is a point. Agree with the travelling that the hard dish can be stored in a bag and you can still access it because its wireless.

Not much of a price difference between the wired and wireless Seagate HDD? Your probably better of getting a wireless HDD!

I bought a Toshibha 1TB hard disk(not wireless) @ Rs 4350 with 7% coupon help at eBay like 5-6 months before. Now considering 3 TB Seagate back up plus .Cheapest quote is Rs 9500. if apply 7% coupon , may be Rs 8800 may be. wireless is nice. but slightly expensive.http://www.ebay.in/itm/Seagate-3TB-U...item35c97d9c9b

No problems at all .Toshiba brand portable hard disk is ok .I still have a 2 year old Seagate 320 gb . it is works well too.But now the cheapest 1 TB is Buffalo -exact rs 4000.But if powered HDD is ok (3.5"),then we are talking 2 TB (rs6000)or 3 Tb only (rs 8800)
