    Default Capture card

I want to try my luck on trying to a gamer on Twitch, I know there are people who are making a living by broadcasting their videogame playthroughs live on twitch. I heard that I need to install a capture card so I will be able to broadtcast my game footages. I wanted to know what are the most popular brand of capture cards? Is this something I can easily mount on my PC or is it something like a Ram card or graphics card that can only be installed by a professional. What is the usual price ranges of capture cards?

Capture Card is a device installed in PC for recording GamePlay videos. Then those videos can be edited easily using Windows Movie Maker or other video editing software. But you can also record gameplay videos using screen recorder software. They are easy to use and can also be used for editing videos.

The normal price range of Capture Card is between $25-$30 for a nice quality brand. Some of them can be installed using cables. Other's require installation in the motherboard. However it would be great If you get it installed by an expert.

Is a capture card, like a software in which records your screen, while using it?

Yes that is what it can do. If you want to make a Youtube channel for making tutorials for Windows and Linux, It would also be useful for that purpose. It is usually used for gaming but some people use it for making tutorials for troubleshooting with a PC.

I once got an application like that once, didn't know it was called a capture card and I had a video editing application which also allowed me to record my laptop screen while being used, glad to know what a capture card is for future reference.

Aside from gamers and people who make Youtube windows tutorials, Capture card is also useful for Youtube digital painting artists:

There are also websites where they pay people to review websites and capture it in video, well with a capture card that online job will be easier.

It is necessary though for people wants to have a Youtube career in gaming, tutorials and Photoshop digital art. I wanted to be a Youtube gamer because it made Pewdiepie a Millionaire who earns 4 Million Dollars a year.

It isn't necessary, it's more favorable for those who have intense passion about the games, they talk review and share content about. A high percentage of people don't breakout and end up giving up.

I am now considering those online earning opportunities that pays people to review websites. I just needed a decent web cam and a capture card and I am ready to go. I heard they pay 20 dollar per website video review.
