    Default World's Best Mouse?

Today I purchased this mouse just for the heck of it. Man, I can't stop drooling ... I wonder how I used to use my older mice...

p.s. This may be old news and all but what the heck. ****, I am sounding like a Logitech advertiser.

    Sorry. I missed this post.

If you visit the Logitech web site (by default it will go to India, change location to USA), you will get many details. In short the main features of this mouse are:

    a) The scroll wheel senses what application you are currently active on and the mode changes automatically. For example, if you are on a text editor (notepad/textpad), the scroll wheel behaves like the normal ratchet/clank type. If you switch to internet browser or acrobat reader, it changes to hyper scrolling. The mode can be changed manually by press/click on the wheel.

    b) The second wheel on the side is to switch between application windows (like Alt-Tab).

    c) There are two buttons on the side that work as forward/backward buttons.

    d) A button just below the main (center) scroll wheel acts as a web search. Highlight any word in a screen/document and press this button. It will use your default browser and default search engine to bring that up.

Plus it is ergonomic and feels good in the hand. It is worth every bit of rupees (or dollars) spent.

I do not have "Gladiator" and "Titanic" is a downloaded copy. So both options are out. My older Pioneer DVD player (1999 model) does not play DVix/XVid as these format were almost non-existant that time.

I have "Matrix" but not "The Sixth Sense". Next time you visit Pune, do call and we can meet.

    p.s.

    1. For a complete list of movies that I own, see here: My Movie Collection

    2. And here is my Home Threater system and pictures of my projector and movie shots from "The Empire Strikes Back"

Every laptop has a touchpad. But when I use the Logitech MX-Revolution mouse it is like an Airline First Class Seat.

To those who say - what's the big deal, a mouse is just a mouse and its main function is point and click.

Very true! Absolutely to the point.

But then you just need a bike or car to take you from point A to point B. A 40K bike or 1.25 lakh Nano can do that. Why buy a BMW or a Merc?
