If you'll give your old UPS to electrician then you'll not have anything to do what he's going to do with your UPS and moreover you'll not feel guilty that you are damaging environment.

Even i am concerned about my environment, its a small step but if every single person take it as a duty then INDIA soon will become a developed nation and will have a better place to live.

What you are saying that whatever the electrician does wud not be your problem?? Well buddy he wudn't b doin that if u hadn't given it to him in the first place??

If he goes out and throws the lead batteries in some garbage bin, wudn't u b to blame? This is like getting a person to do all your dirty work while u stay clean... This is known as classic hipocrisy, which plagues are world today...

Yes i tried that already ... But the electrician gave me a " do i look like a Garbage collector ...go screw urself " look .

Had to post this information here, you dont need to (and should not) throw the old UPS just about anywhere.

Just go into a battery dealership, and get about 200 bucks for it while also ensuring that it is recycled, i gave it along with the old broken down inverter battery while a new battery for the home.

Turns out India's not so hopeless..
