    Default The Best Keyboard (IMO)

    Hi,

I have a TVS Gold Mechanical Keyboard, giving great performance. I bought it for 1K.

I don't think *you* would ever use any other keyboard if you've tried this.

Disadvantages: Noise it makes for every keystroke. (I personally feel it's an advantage. During my _peak_ hours, I type at 70wpm or more. The more sound I hear from it, I can understand that I'm more productive at that time. It's a wonderful feeling. Only those used it can understand it.)

Good Luck with your membrane keyboard(s)!

Mine is an advent wireless keyboard which doesnt make much sound... and I think its about time I get a new keyboard because some times I hit a key and some different alphabet gets typed ... You must have noticed weired spellings in some of my posts... all coz of this wireless keyboard. May be needs new battries

I got it with the pc so dont know how much it would cost otherwise.

    Hi smoothvibes,

In fact, there are some advantages in using a mechanical keyboard. Here are they,

    • The keyboard is much more smoother and easier to type.
    • Good ergonomics.
    • Very durable - 10 times more durable than a membrane KBs.
    • All keys maintain equal force throughout life of keyswitch (until complete failure) - This is not true in case of membrane KBs.

    Regards,
    Pothi.

I use a samsong multimedia ergonomics keyboard........ bought it 10 years ago, infact it is the only thing from my 1st pc that has not been changed ( upgraded by me).
Its very good looking, easy to type, durable and has 20 multimedia keys.

Keyboards never lasted long for me because I use it to play games. I have used IBall keyboard which lasted for almost 2 years & Logitech keyboard which lasted for 1-2 months. Now I don't play games much & I am using Gigabyte keyboard.

As for mouse I have used
IBall mouse which lasted for 1½ years & Logitech mouse which lasted for 2 months. I am using the mouse I got with Gigabyte keyboard now & have no problem with it yet.

So I don't think famous manufactures are any good. I will bye for the cheapest products with good reviews instead of the ones from famous manufactures.

I have a logitech EX110 wireless keyboard and mouse.
Its pathetic. Battery runs out of the mouse in 3days and the keystrokes do not register at times. Even keyboard battery needs to be changed every week.

The mouse is very heavy with batteries. Very hard to game even in slow games. The mouse range is about 1 meter only.

This keyboard is one u would like to stay away frm.

Can some1 plz sugget a wireless keyboard and mouse that has good battery life and at least a 5meter range.

I've been using Logitech (wired) keyboard & mouse all this time.Apart from some times when the mouse sensitivity increases randomly, it works pretty well.
