    Default Intel Now Shipping Atom N280 Processor

    Intel has started shipping the Atom N280 processor to OEM. Improved performance and graphical capabilities are the hallmark of the processor. Usually high power requirement is needed in notebooks to watch high-definition content. With the introduction of this processor, the contents can be viewed albeit with low power consumption. The Atom chips were originally intended for day to day activities such as web browsing and office applications. But this is made possible in N280 with the help of hardware based video decoding.
