I Have IDM But it doesnt catch Flash Videos.. Any Other Download Manager ............ DAP IsntAs Good as IDM Also............ Any Other Suggetions.......

I use firefox + download helper extension.

when i visit any website with vid's it shows a link to download on top of the video,on clicking it is then captured by IDM.

It is FlashGet.

No idea. But FlashGot got Firefox is free. At office, I use IE7 and I cannot download anything. At home I use Firefox. Firefox is better in my opinion but that will get us offtopic.

Yes. But no match for IDM. IDM allows you to capture those flv files that other download managers can. Some flvs. can't be downloaded. If tried, it will give an html file. I have tried almost all of them recently.

Use this link to download flashget

IDM has advanced browser integration which allows you to download using almost all browsers, flashget is not that efficient.

Orbit Downloader have a feature called Grab++ to download video and audio files from websites.

Firefox+download helper add-on.
want further refinement?
firefox+download helper add-on+flashgot add-on+IDM
the download helper add-on would intercept the video file and pass on to firefox downloader. flashgot add-on (not flashget) would intercept the file from firefox downloader and hand it over to IDM

IDM is the best to grab streaming flv content on any site. the reason it didn't work for you because it needs some tweaks to get it to work. go to options - file types

this is how it should be looking

As said IDM will able to download all type type when you add the extension Add the extension download the files
