| Step 1 : Open Registry Editor by typing “regedit” command in the run window Step 2: In the Registry editor, Expand “HKEY_CURRENT_USER”>>”Control Panel”>>”Desktop” Step 3 : Open “waittokillapptimeout” string from the highlighted desktop folder and change the value to 1000 and click on OK Step 4: Open “Hungapptimeout ” string from the same window and change the value to 1000 and click on OK Step 5 : Now Expand ” HKEY_USERS” >>”default”>>”Control Panel”>>”Desktop” Step 6 : Repeat step # 3 & 4 Step 7 : Now Expand “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”>>”System”>>”Current Control Set”>>”Control panel”>>”Desktop” Step 8 : Repeat Step # 3 & 4 again Close the Registry Editor and restart the computer |

| If shutdown the programs hastily, won't it cause errors ? |

| That will not close the programs all of a sudden.in fact we have set enough time to close by itself and performing above steps will only reduce the time a little. |
