Normally the taskbar appears at the bottom of the desktop but you can move it to any side of the desktop. Since the taskbar is locked by default, you will have to unlock the taskbar before changing its size and position. To unlock the taskbar you will have to right click on the empty space on the taskbar. A short cut menu will appear where you have to click on properties. A dialog box will appear on which you have to click on the “Lock the Taskbar”. Click “Apply” and then click “OK”. Now you can move the taskbar to any location on the desktop by dragging. To re size the taskbar, point to inside border of taskbar where double headed arrow appears. With this arrow drag the border to any size.
