Thread: Google Buzz and expectations

Google is known to give quality service before deadline and constantly improve them with time. Google talk Labs edition, Picasa, Nexus One, all had surprises in store. Critics however are not lavish in praising these serves even though they no or a little competition. With the launch of Google Buzz, Google has again given the critics a plate full of tasty dish. Just after the launch, people started evaluating the service of Google Buzz along with other factors. Lot many users feel Google Buzz will be a twitter killer, but there are exceptions too. Let us go through the point for and against Google Buzz.

According to Sergey Brin (Google co – founder) people are feeling difficulty with an excess of social media information. According to them Google Buzz can solve this problem. Critics feel that they are under the illusion that Facebook does not exist. It is already there and is very popular too. They doubt that Google may not be able to outperform Facebook.

Another accusation is that it cannot automatically import your contacts from twitter. Alike Facebook, Google offers little support to twitter and is not able to find out whom the user is following.

In the number game, Google will win, because they own Google..the biggest search engine, which is the blood of internet...and btw what about the rumors mentioning facebook will be paid from mid 2010

but i am unable to understand about buzz. i thought it is a site, but when i opened its website, it is like inbuilt gmail..how to use it??

Facebook is hardly worth a challenge now. Twitter has more some commercial value as it have many famous personality of world. Facebook time's is over.

Facebook has just begun I would say, infact there are many users who are migrating from orkut to facebook. The number of users have gone up but it will loose its market standing if it will be paid. hope the rumor too disappears!
