    This alleged to be scammed email still on-going until today. Hopefully the people nowadays will be more alert on those too-good-too-be-true email.

    Not a lottery win, but this is so convincing, I'm still almost wondering:

    In view of the Reserve Bank of India new directive that all Indian bank users
    should update there account profile for verification.

    We have issued this warning message for the safety and integrity of your account.
    You are required to update your account profile to avoid been suspended for banking.

    Kindly download the attached file to update your account profile.

    The from-address looks convincing too.

    In case you're wondering, I did not click on the attachment, and it is consigned to Junk.

    Some of us have been recognising spam for a decade or two: if we find something convincing, then what hope for the inexperienced and the naive?

    People get these from time to time. Ignore these (Ignore anything with "MONEY" in emails)

    Please forward the email to RBI

    Also from full header find the IP from where originated.
    Inform concerned ISP.

    what happens when someone reports phishing to google?? they do something?

    No, they just label it as spam.

    The ISP or search engine or our local governance council members can do nothing except we, as the recipients be more alert and cautious when receive the email.
