    Default Monitor Screen Shot

Dear fellow forum members ! Have a happy sunday morning. As i am not a comp. expert , please forgive me for asking a silly question like this. Many forum members place their monitor screen shot to give a ellaboration. I am curious to know how do you people do that ? when i am facing a problem i wasn't able to demonstrate and i have to type everything in whole. your valuable advice is much appreciated. thanks n regards.

    Alternatively

For pictures, go to tinypic.com or any other file sharing sites and upload your image. You will get a " Forum code ". Paste it here. Thats all.

No need to use a camera.

Check for " Prtscn " button above the " Home " and " End "button. When pressed, it will take screen shot of your current monitor display. Go to " paint " and in " Paint " use edit > Paste. You will now get the screen shot of your monitor display while the prtscn was pressed. Hope it is clear now.

    wait....
    (C)
One Annexure : reduced in size.120 KB ( Not attached)
    another one edited 24 KB
This is just to avoid opening of big files ( upto 250 KB MAX allowed here) to avoid data d/l by limited plan users
and when the annexure is out of date. ( say my usage details of Dec/2010 or a photo of a modem)

    Request to members:
When you INSERT a picture try to reduce the size (and also readable.)

Edit and cut/crop all blank portions.
Use application IrfanView or any other photo editing software.
Scrolling the page left to right and up and down is a strain/bother to many.
Also users d/l data is used .
If not possible Use only Attachments.
Attachments are opened only by members interested in the subject.
    Thank you.

The screen shot posted is for MS Paint. There is no error.
    That makes a print out...Not Print Scr-in.

    Checked in Windows 7 Professional.

The following table contains keyboard shortcuts for working with Paint
