    Default Ctrl+alt+del alternate!!

    Hi ,

If CTRL-ALT-DELETE seems like too much of a hassle, try this instead:

.. Right click an empty spot on the desktop, point to New and click Shortcut.

2.. In the Create Shortcut dialog box, type the following into the Type the location of the item text box:

    rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation

    3.. Click Next.

4.. In the Select a Title for the Program dialog box, type Lock the
Desktop in the Type a name for this shortcut text box. Click Finish.

Now the desktop will lock when you click your new Lock the Desktop icon.

I would love the computer to give me a cup of coffee or chai when I need it. Does anyone know the keyboard or desktop shortcut for this.

sorry just4kix bro... there is no keyboard shortcut to get a chaai or coffee but yes you can use a command in this and i am sure it will work...
just go to start>>run and type CMD
now in command prompt windows please type in

    dlvr coffee 2 strg win32

    it should look like this

    C:\Documents and Settings\AdityaR>dlvr coffee 2 strg win32

it should deliver a cup of coffee after this

and please remember if you get an error which says

'dlvr' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.

then it means your computer is not compitable with this command otherwise system is not getting any cup to put coffee in....

    lolz... :taz:

Hey guys ....but we use this Alt + Ctrl + Del generally when we are stuck with the windows ....i guess thats the best known key combination to have windows into control.

And for locking the desktop i guess the
    Win Key + L
    combination does work.
    What say ?
Thought that was really a nice trick but ......
Why to get a desktop icon to lock the desktop?

    Regards,
    Shriniket Sarkar

I don't care where the coffee comes from (as long as it is not from your :asshole: ). Checked under the desk too. It is not there.

just4kix you may need to check your system's hardware config to get coffee, please post your systems hardware config and CUP temp, we need atleast 100 degrees temp to make a coffee, please check and update if your system is able to heat upto that temp or not.

If not then i will give you another DOS command to make it hot

I am not sure if Win key + L works with Windows server OS. I have used Win key + L with Windows XP. Can anyone confirm about this?
