Rep Power: 2 | I recently switched from hotmail to gmail because a friend told me it was much better. Turns out I love it. Gmail is by FAR the fastest, no bull e-mail I've used. Since most people search with Google, you stay logged in and with one click, you're in your inbox. Also, when you read your e-mails, it doesn't load another screen, so it's very fast. Little things like that make for a much better e-mail experience. It's also got a lot of great features like live chat with your address book and stuff. The only downfall is to get a new one you need a cell phone. They text message you a code. It's kind of a pain. There's a way to get around it though. Someone from gmail can invite you. If you want to join gmail, leave your email and I'll sned you an invite. And no, I don't get anything from inviting you. No money, no free stuff. |

Rep Power: 2 | Actually I am using Gmail only for site or forum registrations , when they need activation links , I quickly open Gmail and activate it ! Gmail is being used too much nowdays and I believe it will pass Hotmail or Yahoo within 5 years |

Rep Power: 2 | Yes there is is a fact that Gmail is much faster as compared to Hotmail and i think the whole MSN site is a slow one. It takes some time to load a hotmail account or a msn website where as Gmail takea lot of less time to load. |

Rep Power: 2 | I too prefer Gmail. This is because, you can chat with your friends besides checking your mails. Also, it's using AJAX technology (heard somewhere) so that you can receive mails within fraction of seconds. Thirdly, the space of the mail keep on increasing |

Rep Power: 2 | gmail is definately the best email service right now. The amount of space increases everyday and you will never need to delete emails again. You can save all your emails and use the search feature when you need to find something. It's only going to get better with Google and their services I'm sure. i love Gmail |
