I am soon going to buy laptop, preferably Dell ones. I suppose they are cheaper compared to others. Any idea on cheaper laptops and better performance? which co. laptop shall i buy ? What things shall i look while buying a laptop ?

    Hi Dude,

I suggest to go for Acer Aspire 5920 its 35 grands config is too gud with core 2 duo 1.8 Ghz with 2 mb l2 cahe and 160 gb hdd, 2gh 667 ,hz ram etc...and coming to Dell, it is not that impresive if it comes to normal model, if u looking for an high end one in dell go for Precision.for daily entertainment and home usage Acer is good enough. don go for vista..

First of all I will strongly advise against a laptop purchase. Laptops get outdated very quickly and it is very difficult and costly to upgrade them, if not impossible.

But if your work demands a laptop then go in for Lenovo.

Yes it is best to get a desktop where you could rather upgrade as upgrading a laptop would cost a bomb. i'm not sure whether you can upgrade a laptop but branded hardware in a laptop that are replaced cost too much.
