Thread: Best Browser?

i am using Mozila firefox last 6-7 month i think it's better than IE 8

Firefox 3 is the best browser. But some sites require IE.

Will try addon by Archer and see if it helps out

wellll u can also try the new google crome , its also very fast it work nicely on dial up connection too

i always prefer ie over firefox ... ie7 is the best ... and i use google chrome for orkut only

The only problem with Firefox is its high RAM usage.
Otherwise with the thousands of add-ons available, it has no competition.

Tried Chrome when it was first released.
Back then, it seemed to be a simple browser built only for browsing..that's it.
You couldn't do anything extra with it.
As regards the increase in browsing speed that it claimed to have, I didn't notice any appreciable difference over firefox.
Don't know if they've changed anything in it till now.

I have heard good about Chrome, but since i heard it does some background downloading of webpages (for faster loading) i stopped using it. This background downloading is an unconfirmed information seen in another rival broadband forum.

i use google chrome for orkutting only - it works perfectly with the new chat feature of orkut. it is a very good browser but some of the most important and handy features were missing:

no drop-down button for recently visited sites ... u need to type a few letters of the site in the url bar and then the list comes up. really very frustrating

Nobody can even go near to firefox in terms of service and features. In Firefox itself, addons can equate the features of many softwares.

I did not realize the speed of firefox as compared to Opera, Chrome and IE till my internet went down for the last several days. For the past few days, the speed is very less due to pathetic BSNL and so I am realizing the speed of firefox. The websites take a significantly lower time in firefox as compared to other browsers.

Firefox rocks for sure

i strongly believe opera is the browser all pro users should use.not because it's fast but because it has the features for a professional browser

I am not sure but anybody who has used firefox and knows its addons and features properly would never say Opera or IE

Firefox is the best and for less system resources we can use Green Browser............

a poll for this wouldnt have mattered a lot ... firefox would have definitely got most votes

I agree, but i was curious to learn about board members using alternative browsers than Firefox...hence suggested so.

i used green browser also......it was very good works like firefox but no ad-ons are there for it.......and use very less system resources than other browsers.........

GreenBrowser has plugins which can be compared with addons for Firefox.

Checkout GreenBrowser PlugIn

^^^ya i know about those plugins but they are not great as like addonsof firefox........
