    Default Torrent Trouble

    Whenever i am downloading through torrents my browsing becomes extremely slow pls help

    That is because torrents use almost all your bandwidth ... to avoid this you can set the max download and upload speed of torrents to say 85% of the max you get on your connection that way torrents will keep running in the background and you wont feel and delay in loading pages while browsing.

    The problem still persists..but what i noticed was only the bsnl site dataone.in opens fastly at that time

    whats the speed of your connection and also upload speed... did you also reduce the max upload speed for torrents?

    yaa happens to mee to0
    when the dn goes above 100 Kb/s then browsing becomes impossible,

    i have a 500 combo plan...i usually get download speed of about 260-270 KBps
    i limited it to 200 still the problem persists...i was told that the bandwidth is 2mbps...for me browsing is slow from the moment i start torrent

    I Donot face any problems with torrent downloading but While using limewire The Com just switches off if i open any web browser but this is not always ............. but sometimes this does happen................

    when we download using torrents at that that torrents consume high bandwidth and torrents try to utilise or take all bandwidth from line, this is alright if you want to download using torrents then sometimes you may need to face slow speed too.
    To overcome this problem you can set your upload and download speed as suggested by admin. i also do the same thing. I am using 512 kbps connection which gives me about 58-60kbps transfer rate and i have set it on 48kbps at max for upload and download both so that i can use internet to surf pages too...
