    Default Problem in deleting policies

    hi all

    i am trying to delete some policies from my computer but i am unable to do that.. these are the policies which are stopping me to save anything anywhere on system...

    m trying to delete
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Policies
    while doing the same i got error
    can not delete policies: error while deleting key

    any suggestions please

    you should be logged in as a default admin,
    and i dont have any entries in that key, so i dont know what are you deleleting, but you can also try gpedit.msc if you are not usedto this then spen some time in understaning it,

    after making the changes - gpupdate /force in cmd promt

    I assume that you have administrative rights on the PC. I had faced similar situation in the past. Can't remember what I did but I had done a Google search and found a solution.

    yes just4kix i was logged in to system as admin and still was unable to access admin features like run, disc/system management, Device manager, task manager and all

    after this i added some of the policies to registry of system and deleted some policies which resolved my issue, if you still face same problem then do update i have that .reg file with me saved which i can update here
