Rep Power: 10  | Skype is a software that allows us to make telephone calls over the Internet. I think its not free.We need to shell out some money for making calls abroad. |

Rep Power: 2 | Skype is not free you need to have some credit in your account From UK and US to india is expensive from US i think it is 17 cents per min but from india to US is really cheap, it is 2 cents per min but skype to skype calls that is PC to PC is free Last edited by gardencityboy; 09-16-08 at 12:20 PM. Of course, to the user it makes no difference. If you make a call on Skype to India, you are making a call from Europe to India and then it works more expensive. Same is true of Yahoo Voice also except that Yahoo Voice account is based in USA and all Yahoo calls originate from USA. That is another reason why Yahoo is cheaper than Skype.

Rep Power: 10 | Certainly, Skype isn't good to make calls to India if u r in India. But to most other parts of world its nice... And the service is good too... Provided u've a decent broadband... |
