Does any one know any sites where i can get the current(approximate) pricing of some hardware components???

there are services, but they are not so accurate, do a search of ur city, it might give u some local vendor's site

Ebay has some good prices but its just good for checking the prices ... I wont suggest buying anythng costly from ebay. I think its better buying from some local hardware shop.

Yes E-bay is good for getting the ceiling price for a commodity ...But I would def discourage people from buying there ....
